post focusThe advent of auto focus in digital cameras has certainly made it easier to take a great photo quickly, but think about all those times when perhaps the focus was on the wrong subject.

Well Panasonic has come up with a solution for that, without forcing you to use manual focus….it’s called Post Focus…a feature that can be found on some of the latest compact cameras.

The way post focus works is that when a photo is taken, all possible focus points in the background for foreground are captured…leaving you to make your decision on there the focus point should be later.

Post Focus’ is available on the LUMIX DMC-GX8, DMC-G7 and DMC-FZ300 by updating the firmware to version 2.0. Australian consumers can download the upgrade from the LUMIX Global Customer Support Site:  http://av.jpn.support.panasonic.com/support/global/cs/dsc/index.html.
