pinkribbonapronIn the lead up to Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Brother is inviting crafters and sewing enthusiasts to create a limited edition 2016 Pink Ribbon Breakfast apron. The initiative is designed to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

To enter, participants are being asked to create their own pink apron masterpiece, upload the ‘before’ and ‘after’ photo to the Brother Inspires website and either send the apron in to NBCF directly for judging or drop it off at a participating dealer.

Pink Ribbon Breakfast ambassadors, Kate Ceberano, award-winning Australian music artist, and Kim McCosker, 4 Ingredients cookbook author will be judging the entries and selecting the top 20 finalists and one ultimate Grand Prize Winner.

The top 20 aprons will be signed by Kim and Kate and used as fundraising prizes at Pink Ribbon Breakfast events throughout October and November with the grand prize winner to receive a high tea experience valued at $500. All aprons entered into the competition will be used by NBCF to support fundraising efforts towards breast cancer research. The competition is now open for entries with the cut off on 21st September 2016.
