When it comes to TV sizes, research conducted by Nature on behalf of Samsung Australia reveals that Australians agree that ‘Bigger is better’. In fact, 95% of big screen owners who’ve purchased a 75-inch TV or larger say they are happy with the size of their TV[1]. Conversely, close to half of Australian TV owners wish they’d paid for a bigger screen[2].

With 85-inches the fastest growing TV segment[3], Samsung — the number 1 global TV brand for 17 years[4] — recently launched its 2023 range of premium big screen TVs with an option to suit virtually every room and lifestyle.

So how do you choose?

According to Samsung, its ultimate, premium TV for bright living rooms is Samsung’s 85-inch QN900C Neo QLED 8K Smart TV. This is because Samsung’s Quantum Matrix Technology Pro brings together superior backlighting technology and Quantum Mini LED technology to power up to 33 million pixels, which deliver incredibly deep blacks, next level detail, brilliant contrast, and more WOW than ever.

For darker rooms, like a gaming den or cinema room, Samsung’s premium OLED technology thrives. With its new Samsung OLED S95C 4K Smart TV available in a big 77-inch screen size, this TV delivers over 8 million self-lit pixels, resulting in stunning brightness and PANTONE certified colour accuracy[1].

Supporting 4K 144Hz VRR via HDMI 2.1, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro technology, and the Xbox Game Pass app[2] as built-in features, both Samsung OLED and Neo QLED 8K TVs are ideal for those who like to unwind by tearing down the competition in online gaming worlds.
