Classic Atari Home consolePlayed a game of Pong lately?

Back in the 70’s Pong along with Atari kicked off the home video games console market, but things haven’t been going so great for the iconic games company as  Atari in the U.S recently filed for bankruptcy.

There’s talk that it’s simply a move to break away from the unprofitable French parent company to find new buyers and investors for the hundreds of games under the Atari umbrella.

So what about all those classic games like Pong, Lunar Lander & Cenitpede that stand as icons of the first generation of video games you might have played at home in the 70’s and 80s?

Well they still exist in many forms…even on the Atari.com website where they can be played free.
