Your online Digital Footprint is the trail left behind as you interact with the Internet.

Every comment you make on Facebook, every email you send and photo you post online is an archive of your life online, potentially searchable and available online for years to come.
While a 30 year old may have an online digital footprint no more than around 15 years, new research from AVG has revealed that many 26 percent of Australian Children now have digital footprint even before they are born, with pre-birth photos posted online.

It’s the start of a digital history that could follow your child around for the rest of their life, so while it’s natural for parents to want to share these moments, AVG suggest that it’s also important to think about privacy…and even what your child will think about what you’ve uploaded in years to come.
