As rumours suggest that Apple is set to make a 12 inch version of its iPad, other hardware manufacturers are moving in on the market dominated by the current iPad Air 2.
Sony’s Xperia Z4 android tablet is set to be a real contender with Sony announcing that the device will be the slimmest and lightest 10 inch tablet on the market.
While it is in fact neck and neck with the iPad Air 2 at 6.1mm, the Xperia Z4 will weigh in at just over 40 grams lighter than apple’s device.
The Z4 also carries IP68 waterproof and dust-tight ratings which the iPad Air lacks.
