You may already have an Alexa device at home, but now you can have one in your car too.

Amazon has just launched Echo Auto in Australia, letting users have Alexa as their driving companion so you can:

  • Listen to an audiobook via Audible
  • Ask Alexa to play Today’s Hits.
  • Ask Alexa to read you the news.
  • Ask Alexa to read your grocery list to you or manage your calendar.
  • Control your compatible smart home devices, using Alexa to announce to the family you’re nearly home, or turn off the lights if you’ve forgotten.

The Echo Auto device is quite small and connects via bluetooth or an auxiliary input to your existing radio system…and uses your mobile data to access a range of Alexa features.

The Echo Auto is available right now and costs 79 dollars from www.amazon.com.au/echoauto
