According the results of a new scientific study by home appliance brand Sunbeam, women are happier watching their guy in the Kitchen than doing the usual ‘bloke’ chores around the house.

The experiement  monitored 20 real life Australian couples as the male partners performed a series of activities ranging from the traditional: DIY and

drilling, to more delicate tasks like making coffee (not instant) and mixing up a cake.   Watch the video below to see what happened.

The results?

Women are ‘happier’ if their man cooks for them (coffee: 75%, cake mixing: 70%, blending:

65%), than help out with other household chores such as ironing (50%) or DIY e.g. drilling

(52.5%), building flat pack furniture (32.5%) or sawing wood (60%).

7/10 women feel receiving a coffee was similar to getting a gift or loving embrace

Women want to bond with their man in the kitchen: 60% of women agreed that they see

cooking together as a shared and engaging experience

To help further understand these results I spoke to relationship expert Dr. Nikki Goldstein about Sunbeam’s study.  Listen below.
