Mario Kart owns a bit slice of video game history having carved almost 22 years of video game success but now that fun, fictional racer is about to get real.
From August 27 players of Mario Kart 8 for Wii U can download 3 real world cars from Mercedes Benz. A modern compact Mercedes Benz GLA, the 300 SL Roadster from the 50’s and the classy silver arrow benz from the 1930’s.
This will be the first time that any real work car has appeared in a Mario Kart game and Nintendo will also be hosting an online racing tournament also launching on the 27th of this month.
