E-scooters, have rapidly gained popularity as an efficient and eco-friendly mode of transportation, transforming the way people travel short distances…but where can you ride one legally in public?

In New South Wales ,South Australia, Northern Territory , private e-scooters remain illegal on roads ,footpaths, shared paths and bicycle lanes. They can only be used on private property…while  trails continue in limited areas.

In Tasmania, Victoria, Western Australia, Queensland and the ACT it’s a different story when it comes to riding your own e-scooter in public, but there are slight law variations between states so make sure you research before you ride!
