How many hours a day do you think you spend on your phone?

According to a new report from reviews.org, the average Australian will spend a total of 16.6 years of their life on the mobile phone.

This comes from a survey of 1000 aussies who revealed that they spent an average of 5.5 hours on their phone every day.  This adds up to a staggering 145,800 hours over a lifetime, considering an average lifespan of 82 years and the average age of 10 when aussies get their first phone.

Now if you also take into account how many hours you sleep, those 5.5 hours a day ends up being 33 percent of your waking hours spent on your phone.
