You could possibly blame one man for all the spam in your inbox, however just over a week the inventor of email, Ray Tomlinson, passed away at the age of 74.
You may not realise that email is actually older than the modern internet and was a work in progress back in 1971. At the time Ray knew he was onto something big but never imagined exactly how much of a role it would play on a global scale.
