The last time you bought a new phone, what did you do with the old one?

According to new data from Vodaphone, just ONE percent 1% of Australians are Recycling Old Phones, instead perhaps stuffing them in a desk drawer to be forgotten…or worse, dumping them in a rubbish bin.

With e-waste the fastest-growing waste category in Australia, it’s important to know there are better options for old devices then sending them to landfill or left to gather dust.

If the device is only a few years old, you may be able to sell it or trade it in to claw a few dollars back into your pocket, otherwise there’s Mobile Muster, a free, not for profit recycling program.
