Telstra is stripping back the bells and whistles with a new range of budget-friendly NBN options.

The new “Internet Only,” plans are designed for households and small businesses that want simple connectivity without the bundled extras.

Unlike Telstra’s premium “Upfront” packages, these plans don’t include a landline, 4G backup, or a modem—meaning customers can bring their own hardware to save a few dolalrs

The launch arrives just in time for Black Friday, with introductory offers starting at 42 dollars a month for the first three months. However, Telstra warns that because these plans lack a home phone line, they are not suitable for customers who rely on medical Priority Assist services.
