Today Samsung has officially pulled back the curtain on its highly anticipated Galaxy S26 Series and Buds 4 Series, ushering in a future where high-end hardware and “effortless” AI work in perfect harmony. With pre-orders open from today and an official launch set for March 11, 2026, Samsung says these devices are designed to transform your everyday experiences into something extraordinary.

The Star of the show: The Galaxy S26: Slimmer, Smarter, and More Private

The new S26 lineup—featuring the S26, S26+, and S26 Ultra—brings a unified, refined look to the Galaxy family. The S26 Ultra steals the spotlight as the slimmest and lightest Ultra ever made.  I held it alongside my current S25 Ultra and while we’re only talking 0.3mm thinner than that model, the S26 Ultra is 0.7mm thinner than the S24 Ultra.

One of the most exciting (and useful) new additions is the Privacy Display. Perfect for commuters or travelers, this feature allows you to toggle a privacy mode that prevents people sitting next to you from seeing what’s on your screen.

The Galaxy S series has always delivered a great Camera experience

  • Bright, Clear Photos: A new lens design allows for 47% brighter photos, making low-light shots look professional.

  • Horizontal Lock: This clever feature keeps your video level even if you rotate your phone a full 360 degrees while filming.  This was really impressive and there were plenty of technican questions from other members of the media when they demonstrated this feature.

  • AI Photo Assist: Ever wish you could “fill in” a missing part of a photo? Now you can! The AI can intelligently add objects by perfectly matching the original lighting and texture.

Galaxy Buds 4: A “Party in Your Ears”

Samsung’s latest earbuds have been completely reimagined for comfort and sound quality. Whether you prefer the Buds 4 Pro (in-ear) or the Buds 4 (open-ear), you can expect a premium experience.

  • Customized Comfort: Using data from 100 million ear points, Samsung has created a design that fits nearly everyone perfectly.

  • Hands-Free Control: New head gestures allow you to simply nod or shake your head to answer or reject calls—ideal for when your hands are full.

  • Live Translation: Great for travelers, the “Interpreter” feature provides one-way translation of foreign languages directly into your ear.
