IKEA is trading flat-packs for pixels, launching a limited digital experience on the gaming platform Roblox.
Inside the popular Welcome to Bloxburg game, players can now decorate their virtual homes with real-world items from IKEA, including popular picks like the Stockholm sofa and the famous Blahaj toy shark.
The trial is running exclusively for users in Australia and Sweden as a limited-time test, with the exclusive items only available to unlock from January 22 January to February 5.
IKEA says the move is about exploring how their designs translate to the digital world, giving fans a chance to renovate without the Allen keys.
