This website is the novelty of the week for anyone who owns a webcam.  Chat Roulette gives you the opportunity to chat face to face (or webcam to webcam) with total strangers…and if you don't like the conversation, you simply click next and move onto another random chat partner.

Not everyone can make it to the Guinness book of world records, but perhaps you can create your own on the Universal Record Database.
URDB is an open platform for world records. We welcome you to get involved, whether discussing records, beating records or setting new ones of your own. Let's grow this project collectively and push the limits of what mankind can do.

I'll start by saying that I don't have any Tattoos…and I'm not planning on getting one any time soon, however if you are, here's a good place to start.
You can search by keyword and view other people's ink or if you have a tattoo that you want to show the world you can upload your own photo to the site.

Also this week – Recycling your mobile phone for charity

How many unused mobile phones do you have lying around the house, tucked away in drawers that will never see the light of day again?

According to a recent report, Australia is a nation of mobile phone hoarders with people hanging onto mobile handsets that are up to 12 years old.  All up we're looking at up to 20 million unused mobile phones, and because people upgrade their mobile every 18 to 24months that number could continue to grow.

Now I've spoken about recycling mobile phones before, but this week there's a new Mobile Phone Recycling Program that is also raising money for a good cause.

The Sony Foundation and CanTeen has just launched the "You Can" campaign, aiming to raise $15 million for youth cancer treatment centres across Australia, and they need your old mobile phone to do it.

To take part you just need to dig up your old mobile and either drop it into one of the collection stores listed at www.youcan.org.au or sent it in using a pre-paid postage label that you'll also find on the website.

All the donated phones will be recycled for reuse, refurbished and resold and they estimate that each handset could be worth $15 for the cause.

Personally I have at least 1 mobile phone that can go…so if it's going to be useful to someone else and get a few dollars for charity, there's no point in holding onto it.
